Course Learning Objective:
Lesson 1:
This lesson brings awareness to how important the first ten minutes of interaction is to setting the tone for active participation and meaningful learning. By demonstrating a variety of techniques used to create an engaging classroom environment, learners will master the skills necessary to engage childbirth education students immediately.Â
Lesson 2:
This lesson identifies multiple learning styles and describes how information retention is improved by teaching to these various styles. Learners will be given specific hands-on activities and other ready-to-use examples that will bring key childbirth topics to life and reinforce learning concepts for their students.
Lesson 3:
In this final lesson, learners will acquire tools necessary to overcome the challenges inherent with virtual learning. Learners will be presented with practical strategies and interactive tools to create engaging and dynamic online childbirth education. Additionally, learners will gain concrete ways to end each class in a manner that reinforces learning concepts for their students.
