Lesson 1: The Importance of Childbirth Education
This lesson will demonstrate the importance of childbirth education as a means to empower clients. It will also illustrate the key concepts necessary to assist clients in practicing self-advocacy and asserting their birth preferences in the hospital setting.

Lesson 2: Supporting Birth Plan Development
This lesson outlines the essential steps to creating comprehensive birth plans with clients that will assist in improving the likelihood of an empowered hospital birth experience. 

Lesson 3: Facilitating Informed Decision-Making
This lesson will equip learners with the ability to articulate and demonstrate the principles of informed decision making. This new skill will benefit clients as they prepare for varying birth scenarios in a hospital setting.
